Auditorium
An Auditorium is a part of a building where meetings, concerts, etc. are held. It is a place for the assembly of pupils and teachers and also acts as a theatre, lecture hall, conference centre etc. It is a center stage for a number of students who have proved their mettle in dramatics, debates, musicals and other talent shows. The auditorium also has been a battlefield of several inter-school competitions and has seen hundreds of students showcase their finest talents. The school currently has two auditoriums in the school campus.
The first auditorium is located in the old school building and can accommodate an audience of approximately 200 or so. The new auditorium which is located in the new school building is lavish, spacious, airy and comfortable. It was constructed during the time when Rev. Sr. Katherine Joseph was the principal and it was further upgraded by Rev. Sr. Marina Thomas.
The seating capacity of the auditorium is for 1000 people and it also has the state of the art sound system that ensures each word is clearly audible to the audience seated in the hall. It also has the latest technology for light, sound and projection systems. Attached to the auditorium are rehearsal rooms for instrumental and vocal practice. There are also rooms for costume, make up and store rooms which are managed by the principal of the school.
