SPORTS AND GAMES: THE SCHOOL ORGANIZES A WEEK LONG PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES
Sports and Games stimulates the physical and mental growth of a child. They help to develop a healthy body, better body strength and better coordination. They teach great lessons of life such as teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, responsibility, spirit of competition, self-discipline and time management. They help prepare students to face the challenges of life. They enhance physical and mental abilities of students and help them achieve the goals of their life.

In St. Margaret’s, Sports and games activities are a part of the daily schedule where different activities such as March past, drill display, warm up exercises, self- defense techniques, Yoga breathing and postures, etc are performed. For these activities, theory class is also conducted in the classroom. The morning assembly always begins with a few warm up and breathing exercises. This develops their social and cognitive skills and makes them active for the whole day.
